Timothy Lee Crabtree, Jewelry Industry Veteran, Passes
Those who knew Timothy Lee Crabtree in the industry will remember the great memories and laughter shared with him over the years. Tim began his jewelry career as a road representative for Frederick Goldman, one of the oldest and most respected jewelry companies in the country. In his late 20s, together with his wife Karen, he opened Timothy’s Fine Jewelry, a retail store in Anderson, Indiana, which quickly became a beloved destination in the local community.

Timothy went on to serve as national sales director for Gregg Ruth in Malibu, California, and later as district manager for Dunkin’s Diamonds in Southwest Florida. It was at Dunkin’s Diamonds that his daughter Megan began her own journey in the jewelry industry, working under his guidance. Megan Crabtree, founder of Crabtree Consulting, recalls her father as her biggest fan, always reaching out with excitement about the articles she contributed to trade publications. “He lived through me with his passion for the jewelry industry,” she shared.
His son Brock followed in his footsteps by succeeding in sales in other industries, but also started his career in the business alongside his dad at Dunkin’s.
Timothy’s legacy is a genuine love for the craft of the jewelry industry—it was his lifelong passion. A celebration of life will be announced.
