Independent Jewelers Organization Announces 2026 Vendor of the Year at IJO Louisville
The Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) proudly recognized the outstanding contributions of its vendor partners during the recent IJO Show in Louisville, Kentucky, by presenting its annual Vendor of the Year Award. This year’s top honor was awarded to Ostbye, whose excellence in service, innovation, reliability, and partnership distinguished the company in a highly competitive field.
Samantha Larson, Director of Vendor Relations + Merchandise Strategy, reflected on the significance of the award:
“The most valuable partnerships aren’t measured solely by sales or longevity, but by the trust they earn and the impact they make. This award celebrates a partner who continually shows up for our members, embraces collaboration, and shares our commitment to strengthening the independent jewelry industry. Exceptional partnerships create exceptional outcomes, and Craig and his dedicated team at Ostbye exemplify that every day through every interaction.”
Throughout the past year, Ostbye distinguished itself through exceptional retailer support, strong program participation, dependable execution, and a collaborative approach that consistently delivered value to IJO members.
The finalists for the 2026 Vendor of the Year Award were Ostbye, IDD, and Allison Kaufman, each of whom continues to demonstrate exceptional partnership, support, and commitment to IJO’s retail members.
“One of the greatest privileges of leading IJO is watching partnerships grow into lasting relationships,” said Stephen Barnes, Owner of IJO. “Congratulations to Ostbye on being named our 2026 Vendor of the Year. This recognition reflects the respect they have earned from our members through exceptional service, integrity, and unwavering support.”
The Vendor of the Year Award is determined through a combination of member voting, performance metrics, and overall contribution to the success of the IJO community. The honor recognizes vendor partners who consistently exceed expectations and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to supporting independent jewelers.
